What is the EVAVERSE?
Welcome to the first Evaverse blog post! If you’re brand new to the Evaverse game we’ll get you caught up quickly.
The Evaverse is a free-to-play social video game platform on Steam. It’s designed for NFT collectors, gamers, and enthusiasts from every community to socialize and play games together. The game can be downloaded for free from the Steam store page.
Hoverboard Racing:
Hoverboard Racing is a brand new mini-game being launched in the Evaverse. Players can join a race with up to 32 racers and zoom around the Evaverse world dodging obstacles and looking for shortcuts and speed boosts to gain an advantage in an attempt to finish the race first!
Racing is free for all players and a hoverboard is not required. However, only NFT hoverboards will have experience, stats, and can level up by racing.
What are Hoverboards?
Hoverboards are a brand new collection of unique 1/1 NFTs that players can race in the new game mode releasing on December 10th, 2021. Each hoverboard has a unique stat profile and can be leveled up by winning races.
Max Speed — Determines the overall speed of the board.
Acceleration — Determines how quickly the board speeds up over terrain.
Handling — Determines how tight turning radius is at high speeds.
Each board starts at level 1 and can progress to level 10. At level up a random distribution of stats will be given to the board increasing the performance in each category.
Higher-level boards have more stats and perform better than other boards. As competitive rewards are introduced the max level boards will be the greatest opportunity for consistently winning races.
Hoverboard Airdrop:
The airdrop is happening on December 10th. All wallets that hold an Evaverse First Arrivals NFT will be automatically airdropped a random hoverboard NFT on the Polygon Network. Every NFT held is a brand new hoverboard NFT.
